This is a song about relationships and the challenges that come with them. The song was written over the space of a very enjoyable day in 2021, when Sarah and I discussed our lives and everything we had done to get us to that point. We discussed our teenage angst, and some of the musical influences from that period in our lives managed to seep their way into the track. The lyrical content also reflects some of the wider ideas that we discussed over the day, love, faith, meaning and the challenges of relationships; both old and new. The track is a combination of electronic styles as well as contemporary rock, punk, noise and shoegaze sounds with influence coming from acts such as Just Mustard and Beach House.
